1. Terms of Use

These Terms apply when you access the FG Studios. website, create an account, use the member portal, subscribe to communications, or interact with services made available through this website.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You may not impersonate another person, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, abuse APIs, scrape private account information, or use the website for unlawful activity.
• We may suspend or remove accounts where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, FG Studios., or third parties, subject to applicable law.

Availability and changes

Features may be changed, suspended or discontinued. Beta and test features may contain errors and should not be relied on for critical purposes.

2. Privacy Notice

FG Studios. processes personal information needed to operate member accounts, security, newsletter preferences and website administration. The intended privacy framework for this site includes South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), where applicable.

Information we collect

• Account email address and display name.
• Optional Roblox and Discord usernames that you choose to provide.
• Firebase Authentication manages password credentials. Passwords pass through our server over HTTPS to Firebase for authentication; our application does not save them to Firestore or intentionally log them.
• Session and security information required to keep you signed in and protect the service.
• Newsletter consent, subscription status and unsubscribe information.
• Basic server logs that may include IP address, request path, browser-related request information and timestamps.

Why we use it

• To create and secure your account and provide requested services.
• To maintain account preferences and linked usernames.
• To operate security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
• To send optional newsletters only where an appropriate legal basis exists, including your consent where required.
• To comply with legal obligations and protect legal rights.

Service providers and international processing

Render hosts the website and processes hosting/security logs. Google Firebase Authentication processes credentials and Firestore stores profiles, consent records and announcements. Resend processes email addresses and newsletter content only when email delivery is enabled. Roblox and Discord supply public game or community information; externally hosted game images may disclose your IP address to their providers when loaded. Patreon handles membership payments. Provider infrastructure may process information outside South Africa. FG Studios. must establish applicable transfer safeguards and operator agreements; the database region alone does not describe every provider’s processing location.

Providing information

Email, a password, a display name and the required eligibility/terms confirmations are needed for an account. Roblox and Discord usernames and marketing consent are optional. Saved usernames are unverified profile text and do not establish ownership of third-party accounts.

Retention

Account profiles are retained while the account is active. The deletion control removes the Firebase Auth account, its Firestore profile and its newsletter record from the live application. Separate provider logs or backups, where enabled, may remain for the provider’s configured retention period; legal holds may also require retention. Unsubscribing without deleting an account retains a suppression record to respect the choice. Public newsletter confirmation links expire after 24 hours; pending records are not automatically purged, so administrators must review and remove stale records. The operator must document provider log and backup retention before launch. Deleting your FG Studios. website account does not delete your Roblox, Discord or Patreon account.

Your choices and rights

The member portal provides profile editing, newsletter preference controls, account-data export and account deletion. Other rights under applicable data-protection law may also apply. Use the contact details above to request access, correction, objection, deletion or withdrawal of consent. We may request proportionate evidence of account ownership. You may also complain to South Africa’s Information Regulator. Mandatory privacy rights are not limited by these notices.

3. Email, newsletters & direct marketing

Optional FG Studios. marketing/newsletter email is opt-in. Creating an account does not require marketing consent.

• Marketing consent must be voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time.
• Each marketing email must identify FG Studios. as the sender and provide a working unsubscribe method.
• Unsubscribing from marketing is free and does not close your member account.
• We may still send non-marketing messages that are reasonably necessary for account security, material service changes or legal notices.
• We do not use purchased mailing lists for this newsletter system.

4. Membership & Billing Terms

Premium Lite and Premium memberships are currently offered through Patreon. Payment processing, recurring billing, cancellations and payment-card handling are performed by Patreon under Patreon's terms and policies.

• Current membership listings appear on the homepage and member portal. These listings may use cached details; review the price, currency, taxes and billing terms shown on Patreon before subscribing.
• Benefits are digital. Review current included benefits, currency, taxes, billing interval and renewal terms on Patreon before paying. Material changes must be communicated as required by law; this clause does not remove rights concerning benefits already purchased.
• Membership does not guarantee uninterrupted game availability, a particular Roblox rank, whitelisted-department membership, or permanent access to a specific feature unless expressly stated.
• LAPD access described for Los Angeles, California RP does not by itself make a purchaser part of a whitelisted department or grant rank progression.
• Use Patreon’s membership settings to cancel future renewals and its applicable support/refund procedure for billing disputes. Contact FG Studios. about missing game benefits using the operator contact above. Applicable statutory cancellation, cooling-off, refund and consumer-protection rights remain unaffected; there is no blanket “no refunds” rule.

Where a conflict exists between these website descriptions and the current Patreon checkout page, the checkout details shown at the time of purchase should be reviewed before subscribing.

5. Community Guidelines

FG Studios. community spaces are intended for constructive participation. Users must follow the applicable Roblox and Discord rules as well as any posted FG Studios. server rules. Harassment, threats, doxxing, fraud, malicious links, account theft, ban evasion, discriminatory abuse and intentional disruption may lead to moderation action.

6. Cookies & local storage

The fg_session cookie is HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, and Secure over HTTPS. Login sessions last up to 8 hours, or 14 days when “remember me” is selected; newly created accounts receive a 14-day session. Signing out clears the browser cookie, and password changes revoke existing sessions. Local storage remembers dismissal of the essential-cookie notice and caches public website appearance settings until cleared. Appearance settings contain no account information. Session storage remembers whether the cinematic intro has played for the current tab session. These features do not use advertising or analytics trackers. You can clear browser storage or disable cookies, but sign-in will then be affected.

7. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, FG Studios. claims rights in the original website design, branding, text, software and original game-related materials created or lawfully acquired for FG Studios. Third-party trademarks, platform names and third-party assets remain the property of their respective owners. Nothing on this website grants a licence to copy, resell or redistribute protected FG Studios. materials unless written permission says otherwise.

8. Third-party platforms

FG Studios. is not Roblox Corporation, Discord Inc. or Patreon and is not presented as being endorsed by those companies. Links to Roblox, Discord and Patreon lead to third-party services with their own terms, policies, availability and account systems. FG Studios. cannot control those third-party services.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The website is provided on an “as available” basis. FG Studios. does not promise that every feature will be uninterrupted, error-free or permanently available. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FG Studios. is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused solely by use of or inability to use this website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Young users

Accounts are not intended for children under 13. This product age limit is not a substitute for legal consent: under POPIA, processing children’s personal information generally requires prior consent from a competent person or another applicable legal authorisation. A person under 18 in South Africa must have the required prior parent/guardian permission before submitting personal information. The registration checkbox records the user’s declaration; it does not independently verify age or parental consent. A parent or guardian may contact the operator about access, deletion or withdrawal. The operator must establish an appropriate consent and verification process before admitting children where required. Third-party purchases also remain subject to the platform’s eligibility rules.

11. Changes to these policies

FG Studios. may update these policies as the website, memberships or legal requirements change. Material changes should be communicated appropriately. Continued use after changes takes effect may be subject to the revised terms where permitted by law.
